Nihil Young is an Italian DJ, producer, and electronic music artist whose emotionally charged soundscapes have defined a distinctive voice in melodic techno, progressive house, and indie dance for over 15 years. Guided by raw emotion and storytelling rather than genre boundaries, he creates cinematic, deeply resonant journeys that connect with listeners on a profound level.
With over 100 million streams as a writer and producer, and more than 30 million artist streams on Spotify alone, Nihil Young has established himself as a consistent and respected force in the electronic scene. His music has landed on major playlists, charted in Beatport Top 10s, and earned support from tastemakers worldwide.
He has released on prestigious labels including Toolroom, Purified, Odd One Out (Yotto), Saved, Kittball, Zerothree, Vandit, Armada, Spinnin’, Enhanced, Sony, Universal, and many more. Key releases include the best-selling “Alchemy EP” on Odd One Out, the “Lonely Night” EP on Purified, club-oriented gems like “Upper Love,” “Luna,” and “Motions” on Toolroom, and the viral hit “Hey Now” (10M+ streams). Notable collaborations feature Franky Wah (“How It Feels”), Tom Ferry & ARi (“Sacred”), Jordan Arts, and more.
Under his earlier alias Less Hate, he produced genre-defining remixes for legends such as Dennis Ferrer, Roland Clark, Kevin Saunderson, Inner City, and Etienne de Crécy.
As founder and A&R of his own imprint Frequenza and host of the monthly “Dark To Light” radio show on Frisky Deep, he continues to champion melodic and emotive electronic music.
2025–2026 Highlights
In 2025, the “Hypnosis” EP with Ashkan Dian & Unseen (Perspectives Digital) saw the title track land on the cover of Spotify’s Electronic Rising playlist. Year-end singles “Bring It Back” and “Out Of Control” on Frequenza rounded out a strong chapter.
2026 has been a breakthrough year. He launched his debut album campaign with the single “A Feeling” on Zerothree (supported by Ferry Corsten on A State of Trance), released the original “Automatic” on Magnetic Magazine, delivered high-profile remixes (Dennis Sheperd/Aldor, Vintage Culture), and dropped the collaborative single “NXTBND” with Dirty Doering on KATERMUKKE — which once again secured the cover of Spotify’s Electronic Rising playlist.
The journey culminates on August 14, 2026, with the release of his long-awaited debut album on Zerothree — a complete artistic statement that captures the full emotional range of his evolution.
